Activeworlds will have its 25th anniversary on 28th of june. But this will be celebrated during the whole month of June. |

| * MeL (#341444) has set up a calendar for the announced events. Everyone can host an event for this occasion and you get support from Activeworlds, if you need help. |

| |
For the 25th anniversary, there has been added a new tabsheet : Users |
| This tabsheet shows all the users which are online, also those which are not on your contact list. This gives the possibility to add new users more easily to your contact list. |
| If you are planning to set up an event for the 25th anniversary, this makes it possible to contact more people and telegram or invite them for your event. |

| * Community Meeting in the world AWWelcome |
| |
On friday 8th of may , there has been a communtiy meeting in the world AWWelcome. |
| The wold AWWelcom is a very nice world, used previously as a portal world, presenting 3d scenes from several countries all over the world. |
| |
| Chris (#290065) was the community host for this event . The first topic was about the new voice chat program that has been developed. So all visitors were asked to speak and test out their microphones. |
| |
|

|
|
The second topic was about the presentation tool, which enables showing a presentation window on top of the 3d scene, in other to show images for presentation. This option is available for world owners. |

| A third topic was the announcement of the 25th anniversary of Activeworlds, which will happen in the month of june. For this occasion AW encouraged us to host events during this month. AW is also prepared to give support, when needed (e.g. access of more users to your world). |

| * Activeworlds and Covid19 |
| |
| The Covid19 virus has not been unnoticed in AW as well. |
| |
| * Lensman (#302479) has added a URL-center of Covid-19 Resources in the world AWSource. There is also a teleport panel in the AW Landing Zone to that place. |

| * Object movers for social distancing have been created. Not really something that is needed in AW itself but citizens show here how to do it in real life. |
| |
| * Due to the fact that a lot of people need to stay at home, this is an excellent opportunity to come back to Activeworlds, and join their old friends. And they also notice how much the AW program has been developed since their last visit. |

| * Nettaxi / Nettaxi2 |
|
| Nettaxi is a world owned by AWI , it is an older world that has been put online again. Nettaxi world has a futuristic decor. The world entry point is located inside the nettaxi.com diner restaurant. The website Nettaxi.com still exists, but there are no articles on the webpages which are related to Activeworlds. However the blimp objects flyad1, flyad40 , flyad100 and flyad150 have also the Nettaxi logo. |

| This small world is also owned by Activeworlds, and it is one of the oldest worlds. There is also a teleport bringing you to another old world :Cofmeta. |

|
| Dawe is a p20-sized world and is owned by Cody20 (#439570). In the center you have a building containing a huge bowling hall. The world is still under construction and there will be added more buildings. |

| * FreeLand / FreeLa2 |
|
| The world FreeLand is a p20-sized world and is owned by Heiko (#380541) . Heiko came back after 7 years. He also owns the world FreeLa2 , which is still closed for the public. |
| His world consists of 2 islands with exotic plants. There is a village on the other island. That island can be reached (besides flying) by boat or by going through a tunnel. |

| For each month & season, MeL (#341444) puts new "decoration" in the landing zone. |
| This year , it was this cute bunny with a nice basket of easter eggs. |

| Sometimes it is difficult to repond to that question. But you can always respond like Chris (#290065) did. |

| * Wolkenland - party preparations |
|
| Wolkenland has been started up in january by Panne (#365962) , and he has started with the preparations of a dance area in march/april. |
| First the dance floor was created at a heigt of 500 meters, so that the terrain was not visible anymore, and you are really like in the clouds. Then the particle emitters for the clouds were added. |
| Then the dance floor animations were created , which mulitple remote control buttons, in order to create a variety of animations on the dancefloor. |
| The the dance movers were added, so that citizens could dance.And there were added chairs and sofas so that the avatars could sit down as well. |
| Then there were added links internet radio stations and videos. |
| Finally citizens were invited to several pre-parties , so that could be tested out if everything works like it should work. |
| Besides the party area, also games were created, for which more preparations and testing were needed. These preparations were done during april and may. |

| * Shokan - new concept |
|
| The world Shokan got a new concept : since may, 6 citizens got a building area where they could build their own beach. Zombiefan, Keshi, Seaguy, Kahless, Ozyseo and Dearheart. |
| In the center of the world, there has been created a new dance hall, which was a lot bigger and also more beautiful than the previous dance hall. |
